Comprehensive General Dentistry for Long-Overdue Dental Care

Start with a thorough dental examination to assess your teeth, gums, oral hygiene, and any existing concerns, then build a personalised treatment plan around what you actually need.

More patients than you would imagine open with that sentence, usually braced for disapproval. Nobody here is going to give it. Whether it has been six months or sixteen years, the visit is the same: we look, explain what we find, and agree what to do in what order. Nothing is done in the first appointment that you have not agreed to.

Dental Check-Up in Dubai: What Your Routine Examination Includes

A routine dental examination checks your teeth, gums, bite, existing restorations, and signs of decay or gum disease, helping identify problems before they require more complex treatment.

1

Step 1. Your history

We ask what has been bothering you, what you would like improved, and what your previous experiences have been like.

2

Step 2. Examination

Teeth, gums, existing dental work, bite and the soft tissues, including a screening of the mouth, tongue and throat.

3

Step 3. Imaging where needed

Digital x rays only where there is a clear reason, such as checking between contacting teeth.

4

Step 4. Cleaning

Plaque, tartar and surface staining removed, above and below the gum line, followed by a polish.

5

Step 5. The conversation

We explain what we found, what needs attention now, what can be watched, and what is entirely optional. You leave knowing where you stand.

Comprehensive Dental Check-Ups in Dubai: Teeth, Jaw and Breathing Assessment

Your oral health can involve more than your teeth. A comprehensive dental examination may also assess your jaw, bite, airway, and breathing-related concerns when clinically relevant.

Worn front teeth, recession in the same spots, a jaw that clicks or a history of morning headaches all point somewhere beyond the teeth themselves. So do snoring and mouth breathing, particularly in children. Le Denté is the first airway and neuromuscular focused clinic in the UAE, so these are noted at ordinary check ups. Most of the time everything is fine and we simply record it. Occasionally it explains something nobody had connected.

Emergency Dental Care in Dubai for Sudden Tooth Pain

Same-day dental assessment can help identify the cause of severe toothache, swelling, sensitivity, or dental injury and provide the appropriate treatment without unnecessary delay.

Get in contact with us and we will do our best to see you the same day. Toothache, swelling, a broken tooth, a lost crown or a knocked-out tooth all warrant a phone call rather than a wait. A knocked out adult tooth is genuinely urgent, so ring immediately rather than searching for advice.

How Often Should You Visit a Dentist in Dubai?

Regular dental check-ups help detect cavities, gum disease, and other oral health concerns early, with visit frequency tailored to your individual dental needs.

Every six months suits most people. Some need three or four monthly visits, particularly with gum disease or a high decay risk, and others genuinely require less. We set the interval based on your mouth rather than a standard rule, and we will explain why.

Gentle, Anxiety-Friendly General Dentistry in Dubai

If dental anxiety has kept you from getting care, a calm, personalised approach can help you feel more comfortable through examination and treatment.

Tell us when you book and we will plan around it. That may mean a longer appointment, stopping whenever you raise a hand, explaining each step before it happens, or a first visit that involves nothing more than a conversation and a look. Dental anxiety is extremely common and it is usually the result of one bad experience rather than anything about you.

Preventive Dental Care at Home for Healthy Teeth and Gums

Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, clean between your teeth daily, and maintain regular dental check-ups to support long-term oral health.

Brush twice daily for two full minutes with a fluoride toothpaste, angling the brush into the gum line rather than scrubbing across it. Clean between the teeth daily, since that is where most decay and gum disease begin. Keep sugary drinks to mealtimes, and remember that frequency matters more than quantity. We will show you the technique properly rather than assume you know it.

Dr. Rashida was incredible. She explained everything clearly about my gums and teeth—I was honestly in denial before! The whole experience was calm, luxurious, and so professional. I had minimal discomfort during cleaning, which is rare for me. I’d 100% recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Rashida is truly exceptional. As the Bay Area’s first airway and neuromuscular dentist, she’s helped me improve not just my teeth, but my breathing and jaw alignment. The care at Le dente Clinic has been phenomenal—highly recommended.

I broke my teeth while climbing and had only five days to get everything done. Dr. Rashida was the only one who could deliver in that timeframe—scans, fillings, everything. It was smooth, efficient, and gave me not just a perfect smile but a functional one. Truly an amazing experience at Le dente Clinic.

Questions Patients Ask Us Most

Dr Rashida Awards

How long does a check up and clean take?

Usually around 45 to 60 minutes for a first visit, since the examination is thorough and we spend time discussing what we find. Routine visits after that are shorter.

Are dental x rays safe?

+

Digital imaging uses a very low dose and we take them only where there is a clear clinical reason, such as checking between teeth that touch or investigating pain.

Does a cleaning hurt?

+

For most patients, no. If your gums are inflamed it can be tender, and we can numb the area. Tell us if you are sensitive, and we will work accordingly.

Does Le Dente accept insurance for dental treatments?

+

Please contact us with your provider details, and our team will confirm what applies before your visit, so there are no surprises afterwards.

Will you tell me the cost before treating anything?

+

Always. You receive a clear, flat price for your treatment plan before anything is scheduled.

Can I bring my children to the same appointment?

+

Yes, and many families do. Children are seen here too, and we are happy to arrange family bookings together.

What if I need something more complex?

+

It is available here. Implants, orthodontics, root canal treatment under a microscope, gum treatment and full rehabilitation are all provided in house, so you are unlikely to need referring elsewhere.

Do you screen for oral cancer?

+

Yes, as part of the routine examination. It takes moments, it is painless, and early detection matters a great deal.

What are your opening hours?

+

Monday to Saturday, 9AM to 9PM, at Villa G3/U4, opposite Wasl 51, Al Wasl Road, Dubai.
